Of course the one weekend that we plan to soak up some last minute summer sun a hurricane blows through. We were actually really lucky and it "breezed" by us with no real threat. It did however bring rain, wind, clouds and a slighter coolness than usual in August.
Friday night we had really really crazy winds and lots of rain, but Saturday most of the rain had stopped with the exception of a few sprinkles and virtually no sun.

That night we ate dinner at a Brazilian Steakhouse, walked around the shops and played putt-putt. It was girls against boys and whoever won had the buy the other team milkshakes.
They guys ended up winning...but only by one point! We did end up having a "hole in one" club...Mike even had two holes in one!
And then of course Sunday was the most gorgeous day ever
