Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was a lot more low-key this year.  We really missed going to Mississippi with J's family, but it was nice to stay home and spend the holiday with the Nicholson/Holton clan!  My family has been celebrating Thanksgiving with the Holtons for years!  I really can't remember doing Thanksgiving alone at our house.  This year was no different...we had food, food, and food!  I always tell myself I won't get so stuffed, but it never works.  I didn't get too many pics of the food because I was too busy eating it.
This year we brought cornhole to Thanksgiving!  Josh helped his dad and Jeremy make these cornhole boards and we love them.
And of course...we had to check out the ads...although no one was up for any midnight shopping

Hammond wins again!

This year marked the 6th State Championship for Hammond!  They only lost one game this whole year which was to Wilson Hall...and then they beat the undefeated Wilson Hall team at the championship game!  We love the Skyhawks and our sweet Kimrey family!!
Erik, how does it feel to be "Winning Forever?"
The Kimrey family...minus Ty who stayed home with his Mimi
Even the girls got championship medals
Luke, our favorite waterboy

Football onesie

Ok...so I have a LOT of back blogging to do...things around here have been slightly busy.  Maybe I'll post about Thanksgiving before Christmas rolls around!

Its no secret that I love Pintrest.  I even blogged about it when I discovered it back in the summer.  The problem is...I find totally cute things and ideas but just "pin" them and look at them every so often.
Well...I finally decided to tackle one of those Pintrest projects!
Football Onesie
I found this adorable football onesie on Pintrest and my immediate thought was "Baby Ty HAS to have this!"  With Ty's dad, Eric, being a football coach it would be the perfect little outfit.  It actually was supposed to be Ty's Halloween costume, but the brown onesie didn't come in the mail in time.  He did have in it in time for the Hammond State Championship game.

Carolina Kick-Off for a Cure

We had a blast at the 3rd annual Carolina Kick-Off for a Cure to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation!  This fund-raising event has a silent and live auction all while watching the Carolina/Arkansas game at the Zone in Williams Brice Stadium.
A lot went into organizing this event...Rick, Angie, Jeremy, and Kristin as well and a whole team of other put countless hours into this amazing night.
Getting things ready
 Great volunteers
Cocky stopped by before heading to Arkansas
We had a really awesome turn out
Closing out and adding up the totals
This year the event raised over $40,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation!
