Finger foods

Ren has recently discovered finger foods and the joy of feeding himself.  We've been giving him puffs and those dissolving biscuits but eating real food in the highchair has been a new thing.  His favorites are bananas and sweet potatoes...although it does get frustrating because those things are so slippery!

Lily's birthday

Ren was invited to his first little friend's birthday party.  Our sweet friend from church/small group, Lily, turned one this past week and celebrated her birthday today with a very pink party!  Too bad Ren wasn't old enough for cake.

Snow day

On January 29th we had a snow day!  It was a day filled with pancakes, naps, movies, and a quick visit outside to see the snow.

It was a fun family day but I'm already missing the day off I was supposed to have on Valentine's day.
