Two months!

Ren turned two months old on July 20th.  These pics are actually a week after the two month mark, but who's counting right?!

Ren also had to get his two month old shots.  We really weren't keen on the idea of giving him all six shots that they recommend for two month olds.  After researching we decided to just give him one or two of the vaccines.  I talked with our pediatrician who was super awesome about wanting to delay his vaccine schedule.  She listed out all the vaccines Ren was to get and ranked them in the order of importance that she recommended.  We only gave him the shot that protects against whooping cough and the one against meningitis.  We'll look at the list again at his four month check up.

He did fine with first shot but was not cool with the second one.  He cried all the way until we got in the car and started to drive home.  His poor legs hurt so bad and we ended up giving him Tylenol that day and even the next.  I felt bad for the little guy.

When we registered at Buy Buy Baby waaaay back in January we had no idea what we needed.  We scanned items that others had recommended or just looked like something we would need.  One of the things recommended to us was a swaddling blanket.  There are so many different swaddling blankets to choose from and I picked the one I thought was the cutest.  Wow...it has been the best blanket EVER!!!

Happy Fourth of July

We started the day off with a parade with friends in the Kimrey's neighborhood.  Ren was a little young to enjoy the parade because he slept through the whole thing!

The girls can still wear the shirts I made for them last year!

Happy 2nd birthday Ty-Ty!!!

This was Ty last year...its crazy how much he changed in just one year!

We headed to Josh's parents house for lunch and pool time.  I was so happy to finally be able to get in the pool after six weeks of waiting and seeing everyone else swimming.

Ren wasn't a big fan of the pool.  The water was cool and I think he was just too cold.  His mommy loves the pool so he'll just have to get used to it!

We finished the fourth with more food and fireworks with friends.  It was a pretty fabulous day.

Tummy time

We attempted some tummy time...but Ren kinda hates laying on his stomach so we just played on our back instead.  The dogs, however, love when Ren lays on the floor!

Graduation
