On Saturday we watched the Gamecocks play basketball against Auburn. Sadly we lost by two points, but we did get to watch the game from inside the Alumni box. Our family friend is the president of the Carolina Alumni Association and he invited us all to watch the game from the box. It was tons of fun and now I feel like I can only watch basketball games in comfort and style.

Carolina Kick Off for a Cure
Once again we helped out at the Carolina Kick Off for a Cure to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. As always we had such a stellar night! Unfortunately the Gamecocks did not bring home a win, but the event did raise a lot of money for the Foundation.
We even got to meet Chad Holbrook, the new head coach for the baseball team.

Carolina vs. Kentucky
When the alarm went off at 6:45 Saturday morning, I was regretting the whole Breakfast Tailgate thing. I mean come on...its a Saturday!! But the Gamecocks were playing at noon so early morning it was!
We had quite a spread...bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits, gravy, grits, fruit, and donuts. Pretty much the best breakfast I've had in a while.

Oh...and mimosas!
We had such a fun time hanging out, eating, playing cornhole, eating, and more eating! Tons of friends stopped by throughout the morning.
"Sisters"
My first cornhole game...super fun! AND...it turns out that I'm pretty good too.
Even Aimée was surprised by her cornhole skills!

Carolina vs. Vanderbilt
It was a great weekend for some Carolina football! Although it did start out a little rainy, the sun eventually came out and with it the sticky humid air of the south.
The Parks and the Rawlins really know how to tailgate...we had everything from snack food, dinner food, and dessert food to a tv, satellite dish, cornhole boards, and even a fan to keep us cool!
We spent some time watching the Clemson game...
but mostly we just sat around and ate!
All the girls decked out in our Carolina colors!
Jeremy looking very much like Captain Jack Sparrow with his compass trying to find the perfect direction for the satellite dish.
Go Gamecocks!!
We missed you Josh!!
(he was at the wedding of a college friend in Albany, NY)
