For Ren's birthday my parents gave us a zoo membership.  It's great because for a whole year you can go as many times as you want!  A couple of weeks ago we took Ren for the first time.  I'm not sure if he really understood what he was looking at with some of the larger far away animals, but he loved the aquariums with all the fish.

Happy Fourth of July

We started the day off with a parade with friends in the Kimrey's neighborhood.  Ren was a little young to enjoy the parade because he slept through the whole thing!

The girls can still wear the shirts I made for them last year!

Happy 2nd birthday Ty-Ty!!!

This was Ty last year...its crazy how much he changed in just one year!

We headed to Josh's parents house for lunch and pool time.  I was so happy to finally be able to get in the pool after six weeks of waiting and seeing everyone else swimming.

Ren wasn't a big fan of the pool.  The water was cool and I think he was just too cold.  His mommy loves the pool so he'll just have to get used to it!

We finished the fourth with more food and fireworks with friends.  It was a pretty fabulous day.

Miss Wildcat

BG was recently in the Miss Wildcat pageant at Lexington High School.  It was fun to see her all dressed up, but let me tell you...high school beauty pageants are LONG and pretty much boring.  At one point J went out to the car to get his phone because he just couldn't take it any more.  BG didn't win anything but (and here comes the cheesy part) she will always be a Miss Wildcat winner to us!  :)
